Our Client is a leading M&E engineering consultancy based in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway, offering engineering design and project management services on large scale projects.
We are looking for Intermediate Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities include:
Competent in the design and specification of mechanical building services in a variety of industries and project types, sizes and complexity.
Experience in delivering detailed designs through a full design cycle.
Knowledge and experience in the following Mechanical design areas: Water Services, Heating / LTHW, HVAC, Natural Gas systems above ground drainage and BMS.
Knowledge of MEP, including HVAC and Public Health services design
Understanding of specific building services design tools, such as IES.
Knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
Commercial sector knowledge/experience is a strong advantage.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
Mechanical building services design knowledge/ experience is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of communal plant heating systems would be advantageous.
Project management, problem-solving, presentation, communication and IT skills are essential.
Requirements
Minimum Degree qualification in Mechanical Design Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
Proficient user of the following:
Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review/ Revit MEP)
