Microbiology Technician
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading multinational pharmaceutical organization based in Carlow.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine testing in support of manufacturing and batch release with high quality documentation and technical writing.
* Review microbiological test data from utilities and environmental monitoring samples.
* Demonstrate organizational skills to manage all aspects of a given assay.
* Ensure SOPs/forms are up to date with latest requirements and improvements.
* Support process simulations and work as part of a team.
* Demonstrate awareness of safety for self and others in all aspects of work.
* Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards.
* Have strong scientific and GMP documentation skills.
* Understand Pharmacopoeias and guidelines.
* Comply with Global and regulatory Requirements and execute current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
* Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture.
Experience and Education:
* Degree in Microbiology or closely related discipline.
* 2-3+ years' experience in the Microbiology Pharmaceutical industry.
* Knowledge of cGMP, GDP and Laboratory Quality Systems preferred.
