Job Title: Assistant Manager (x2 posts)

Permanent, 39 hours per week

Job Brief:
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for delivering our vision for the individuals they support through their daily lives.
This involves working closely with the individuals, their families, and staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
The role requires building capacity within staff teams, developing circle of support around the individuals, and implementing HIQA requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
* A genuine understanding and interest in supporting people to effect positive change in their lives
* Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of teamwork
* Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
* Ability to lead a team of staff, including compiling rosters
* Experience working in an Autism Informed Manner and Person-Centered Approach
* Flexibility to respond to service demands
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
Duties Include:
* Contribute to local service planning process and creative development of the service
* Ensure a safe work environment, incorporating Dignity at Work Policy and Health & Safety requirement
* Promote safety in all environments, in line with Organisational practice
* Use positive approaches to support people, in line with Organisational practice
Qualification Details:
1. An appropriate 3rd-level qualification in Social Care, or equivalent (minimum level 7), eligible for CORU registration
2. Qualification in people management, an advantage
Other Requirements:
* Full driver's license essential
* All applicants subject to Irish Garda Vetting & Reference checks
