AtkinsRéalis, a leading provider of engineering professional consulting and support services, is seeking Site Supervision Staff for positions nationwide in Ireland.
Candidates will work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors, with opportunities to be seconded into client offices/sites.
We are looking for a Project Resident Engineer with 15+ years' experience in Site Supervision activities.
Desirable Skills/Attributes:
* Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
* An excellent communicator, written and verbal in English.
Responsibilities:
* Drive delivery of projects on site on behalf of clients, focusing on health & safety, time for delivery, cost management, and quality standards.
* Ensure works are carried out according to contract documents and specifications.
* Monitor and report on works being carried out to Employer's Requirements.
* Inform employer's representative, project manager, and Uisce Éireann of all issues arising on site.
* Implement Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation.
* Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractors' Proposals.
* Carry out weekly documented health and safety site reviews and follow up on satisfactory close out of health and safety issues.
* Report any accidents or incidents on site to Uisce Éireann and assist with accident investigation and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
* Participate in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections and confirm satisfactory close out of any issues identified.
