Project Manager (Civils/Wastewater)
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civils and/or wastewater treatment to join our client on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be working on a wastewater treatment plant upgrade near Carlow, Co. Carlow.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards.
* Maintain the company legal register.
* Review and implement company HSQE management procedures.
* Develop Construction Health and Safety Plans.
* Implement Site Construction Stage Environmental Management Plan.
* Oversee Site Quality Management Plan on the BIM platform.
* Arrange and conduct Site Inductions.
* Update and maintain records associated with the HSQE management system.
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.
* Comment on Subcontractor's RAMS.
* Record HSQE statistics including Key Performance Indicators.
* Provide monthly HSQE report.
* Coordinate and minute Site Health and Safety meetings.
* Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences.
* Document health and safety meetings and capture action plans.
* Carry out training in all areas where competent.
Requirements
* Experience in civils and/or wastewater treatment is preferable.
* 3 or more years on-site experience.
* Previous experience in design and build of water or wastewater projects.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Client-facing experience.
* Desirable experience with MS Project, P6, and BIM 360.
Education and Certifications
* 3rd Level qualification in Engineering or Safety Management.
* Full clean driving license.
* Site Safety Management accreditations.
A competitive salary of €65,000 - €85,000 per annum is available for the successful candidate depending on experience.
