Job Description
A Global Fintech Company seeks an experienced HR Advisor for a contract position with 2+ years of experience to lead the rollout of a new policy related to absenteeism.
The team handles high-volume employee absenteeism/attendance and corrective actions in a fast-paced environment, balancing attention to detail with company culture and values.
The HR Advisor will coach managers on absence and attendance, guide them on corrective actions, and work on sensitive issues requiring sound judgment and confidentiality.
* Provides coaching and advice to managers on performance management and corrective action related to attendance/absenteeism.
* Provides coaching and advice to managers on leave of absence cases, engaging vendors, payroll, employee benefits, and employees.
* Proactively manages LOA cases to ensure employees and managers have required support.
* Works with Occupational health and other providers to guide managers on health and sickness matters.
* Continuously proposes ways to improve existing policies and procedures.
* Supports the development of programs to promote wellness and reduce absenteeism across sites.
Prerequisites:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
* Human Resources experience in a global organization with a focus on employee relations and absenteeism.
* HR certification.
* Solid knowledge of employment legislation, its interpretation, and implementation, particularly in absenteeism and leaves of absence.
* Skilled in coaching and developing manager capabilities.
* Adept at using effective listening and inquiry skills for sensitive conversations.
* Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to create reporting and analysis on key trends in case volumes.
* Previous experience with case management systems, preferably SalesForce.
* Ability to operate independently and escalate when necessary.
* Fluency in English.
