Are you a commercially focused finance professional with a passion for manufacturing and operations? Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and operational cost management across a fast-paced Manufacturing & Operations environment.

The Role
As a Financial Analyst Manufacturing & Operations, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the financial and operational performance of the manufacturing site. You will manage month-end reporting, oversee industrial cost allocation, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Period-End: Complete month-end processing accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with group reporting standards. Analyse and report on monthly performance, highlighting key trends and variances.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the plant controller with budgeting, collecting entries and estimates from operations. Provide insights into cost gaps and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy. Create and maintain standard material costs and oversee overhead budgeting.
3. Operational & Cost Analysis: Collaborate with the plant operations team to improve financial clarity and cost management. Track operational metrics and provide insights to improve profitability. Maintain and validate cost data related to product development.
4. Process Improvement & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies. Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of standard costings and releases.
What We're Looking for:
Strong experience in a financial controlling position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large datasets. Experience with cost control and manufacturing processes. Proficiency with Hyperion Financial Management, SAP, and Microsoft Office. Proactive and collaborative approach, with strong stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
