Job Overview
To assist the Spa & Salon Director/Salon Supervisor in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all aspects of operations.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standards and targets are met.
* Maintain a five-star level of cleanliness throughout the treatment areas.
Qualifications/ Skills
* Good spoken English with an adequate level of written English.
* CIBTAC/ITEC/CIDESCO or equivalent qualifications.
* Previous treatment experience, preferably within an international hotel group.
* Retail sales experience.
Key Functions
1. Day-to-day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness, and hygiene of the treatment areas.
2. Be aware of all treatments offered and any promotions available at any given time.
3. Be punctual and prepared in advance of treatments.
4. Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning service.
5. Anticipate guests' service needs and address them in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
6. Confirm guest first and last name and type of treatment scheduled prior to beginning treatment.
7. Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout service.
8. Use the correct quantities of products as specified by the manufacturer.
9. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools.
10. Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms throughout shifts.
11. Responsible for keeping up the high standard of treatment and service.
12. Check with guests to ensure continued comfort throughout service.
13. Maintain stock levels according to set standards.
14. Attend and adhere to all training courses deemed necessary by the Spa & Salon Director/Salon Supervisor.
15. Responsible for achieving sales targets set by the Spa & Salon Director/Salon Co-ordinator.
16. Accurately record daily sales figures.
17. Assist with demonstrations/events as required.
18. Promote and sell spa/salon services.
19. Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
20. Partner with others to promote teamwork and achieve common goals.
21. Be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
22. Cover reception as and when required.
23. Perform any other duties deemed reasonable by management.
24. Display courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times.
25. Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures.
