Job Description
Lead Behaviour Support Specialist
This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for children attending our services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Completing behaviour assessments and developing PBSPs using best practice.
* Direct teaching and implementation of PBSPs and IEPs.
* Reviewing and monitoring data.
* Conducting research in academic journals and recent literature to ensure evidence-based practices are utilised.
* Providing written reports with supporting data on PBSPs and IEPs.
* Staff Training.
* Supporting teachers in daily school operations, including classroom management, student assignment, break times, and moment-to-moment decision making.
* Liaising with parents and other professionals as necessary.
* Maintaining relationships with parents, teachers, and tutors.
* Collaborating with regional managers to promote child development.
* Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and Care National Frameworks Aistear and Siolta.
Requirements:
* Board-Certified Behaviour Analysis credential with relevant experience.
* OR Master's in Applied Behaviour Analysis with at least 2 years of experience working with children or adults with autism/learning differences.
* Full clean driving licence.
Working Hours and Location:
The role is based in Region 2, which includes Dublin 1, Dublin 5, Dublin 15, and Kentstown, Co. Meath. Flexibility is required regarding location, as the role may involve travel between sites.
Salary: €40,170-€50,000 plus laptop, phone, and mileage expenses.
