A Day in the Life of a Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities may include:
* Developing, modifying, and maintaining quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished product.
* Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
* Participating in preparing/critically reviewing/approving NCMRs/CAPAs/Investigations and validation activities.
* Ensuring effective product control measures in the event of issues being noted.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive problem-solving efforts and ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Your expertise will be essential in supporting operations and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work independently under limited supervision. You should have a strong risk-based approach to problem-solving and excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership skills. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field, along with 3+ years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering, is required.
You should be a dynamic team player and leader who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation. Experience with Agile, SAP, and SAP ME is an advantage. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is also essential.
