This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Assistant to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.Your new role includes:Customer Service:Provide expert advice and assistance to trade customers, ensuring they receive the right products and services for their projects.Process sales transactions quickly and accurately at the trade counter.Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.Build and maintain relationships with regular trade customers, ensuring repeat business.Product Knowledge & Sales:Maintain a thorough knowledge of hardware products, including tools, materials, and other trade-related items.Actively promote sales and special offers to customers, ensuring product knowledge is up to date.Identify and recommend add-ons or alternative products to meet customer needs.Stock Management:Ensure stock levels are maintained and that the trade counter is fully stocked with high-demand items.Assist in stock checks and inventory management when required.Order Processing:Process trade customer orders and ensure correct items are pulled from stock.Assist in the efficient and timely loading of customer orders.Handle any special orders or customer requirements as needed.Team Collaboration:Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the branch.Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or new team members on product knowledge and customer service standards.Health & Safety:Adhere to health and safety standards within the store and trade counter.Ensure safe handling and storage of all products, particularly heavy or hazardous materials.Experience you need:Trade Counter experience 1 year minimumForklift ticketWhat's nextClick "Apply Now" to submit your application and we will be in touch asap for our initial screening.If this role isn't the perfect match but you're interested in similar opportunities, feel free to get in touch.
