Job Summary: Byrne Hotel Group seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and refine menus, ensuring a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes that reflect our brand and satisfy diverse palates.
* Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient procurement, recipe standardization, food preparation, and presentation.
* Lead, train, and inspire a team of kitchen staff to ensure culinary and hygienic standards are met.
* Collaborate with management to control kitchen costs, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Spearhead the culinary aspect of events, creating bespoke menus and overseeing their execution to high standards.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale hotel or restaurant.
* Culinary arts training from a reputable institution; additional certifications in hospitality management a plus.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing a cohesive team.
* Creative culinary skills with the ability to forecast and react to dining trends.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in managing budgets and cost controls.
