This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape HR strategy, drive organisational development, and oversee Learning & Development initiatives in a growing and impactful organisation.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic HR plans to support workforce planning and business growth.Lead the HR and L&D functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.Oversee employee relations, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and trade union negotiations.Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programmes.Implement HR policies, performance management frameworks, and employee engagement strategies.Lead change management initiatives to support organisational objectives.Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective HR and L&D practices.Represent the organisation at external meetings and regulatory bodies.Qualifications & Experience Required:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources.Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.Strong experience in a unionised environment, including trade union negotiations.Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and drive organisational change.Experience in budgeting, HRIS systems, and policy development.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionHuman Resources and TrainingIndustriesHuman Resources Services and Public Health
