We have an opportunity to join our supply chain team as an Assistant Merchandising Manager reporting to the Merchandising Manager.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Identify fulfilment, allocation and stock opportunities to improve availability and inventory productivity
* Developing a stock and open to buy plan
* Work with merchandising team to better manage availability, inventory health, open to buy, item level forecasting
* Support the development of KPIs to monitor success and progress, collect and apply learning within follow up process
* Work on cross functional projects as needed to support company objectives
* Liaising with the Commercial Department, the Logistics Team, the Space Planning team, Stores and Distribution Centre
* Work with Merchandising Manager to develop long term strategy with focus on forward planning
* Support development of the merchandising team
* Assume full management responsibility of the Merchandising function in the absence of the Merchandising Manager
Key Skills
* Strong experience in commercial & merchandising
* Team management experience
* Ability to drive continuous development and improvement
* Project management
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
