Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in Cyber Security for our client, a leading Irish retail and SME bank. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cyber security projects, knowledge of project management methodologies, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage detailed project plans for programme work streams
* Plan and develop projects from ideation to implementation
* Ensure stakeholder satisfaction at all times
* Work closely with software development teams, tech architects, and business owners to refine requirements and translate business needs into IT solutions
* Liaise with management to ensure continuous improvement and best practice implementation
* Effectively document and surface relevant information
* Remove blockers to ensure project success
* Manage risks, issues, deadlines, dependencies, and present up-to-date status reports
* Create a supportive working environment that aligns with the company culture
* Monitor resource use and team productivity
* Develop a thorough understanding of the industry and products/services
* Regularly report progress, define, and report KPIs and key objective/result metrics
* Keep stakeholders informed on activities affecting their goals
* Foster long-term effectiveness, simplicity of solutions, and appropriate controls
* Estimate projects and tasks, working closely with technical and business teams
* Ensure quality of third-party deliveries against requirements
* Act as an authoritative voice-of-customer representative
* Line manage team members, supporting recruiting, mentoring, developing, inspiring, and retaining great people
* Expert at budget & effort management and reporting
Requirements:
* 5+ years PM Cyber Security experience within a regulated environment
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
* Knowledge of Banking Project Management
* Ability to implement projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service mentality with relationship-building skills
* Motivational and people skills, helping team members excel in a collaborative culture
* Excellent organisation and time-management skills
* Strong communication skills, influencing change
* Able to run processes efficiently, including change processes, aligning with other teams
* Deliver objectives with a strong sense of urgency

* Passionate about building high-quality systems
* Total fluency in Agile/Scrum, Waterfall
