This team is part of our client's risk consulting practice. They operate across a range of different sectors, including the public, energy and utilities, financial services and telecoms. Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration: Partnering with our assurance team on large-scale transformation programmes and projects.
2. Client Relationships: Build strong and trusted relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs, priorities, and challenges.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality work products that meet client expectations and uphold professional standards.
4. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of specialization, leveraging your knowledge to develop innovative solutions and shape service offerings.
5. Business Development: Leading presentations and proposals for medium to high complex projects and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals in relevant areas.
6. Assisting in client account management activities such as recruitment for the project team, managing financial aspects of client engagements, and quality and risk management.
7. Leading and supporting presentations and proposals for elements of medium to high complex projects to prospective and existing clients.
8. Communicating effectively with senior management and working to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams.
9. Supporting team development activities, including: supporting, coaching, and mentoring activities.
10. Conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback.
Requirements:
1. 15+ years' experience in project risk or programme delivery, recovery for the delivery of technology projects in consulting, industry, or the public sector.
2. Some programme assurance (project health check) experience.
3. Track record for leading high performing, cross-functional teams.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes.
5. Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
6. Additional professional qualifications in project or programme management, such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or ACP are desirable.
7. Additional areas of interest: Project Assurance, Portfolio Management, PMO, benchmarking and best practice.
