Our client is a renowned leader in high-level building services construction, with extensive experience spanning multiple decades. They operate across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical. To support their continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Lead MEP Coordinator.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a services coordinator and report directly to the BIM Manager. As the point of contact between the BIM team and Operations, this role requires strong communication and organisational skills to ensure seamless collaboration within the business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the operations team with all co-ordination deliverables
* Work closely with Operations managers to drive efficiency and innovation
* Deliver all 3D and 2D co-ordination milestones set by the BIM/Technical Services Manager
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to reporting team members
* Promote prefabrication and modularisation approaches to enhance project delivery
* Ensure all models and drawings adhere to constructible standards and design intent
Project Delivery:
* Point of contact for digital construction/BIM and coordination needs within projects
* Review and analysis of EIR and Client BEPS
* Review of company BEP and issue to client
* Ensure project adequacy in terms of resources
* Confirm correct project setup by BIM lead
* Point of contact for Technical Services Manager regarding project updates
* Audit 3D and 2D deliverables for adherence to internal standards
* Attend weekly meetings with internal and client teams
BIM Development:
* Support team members in developing their skills and expertise
* Collaborate with Project BIM leads on personal development initiatives
* Participate in site project meetings to facilitate efficient construction processes
* Develop knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems for value engineering and detailed co-ordination

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Design
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in BIM/Services Coordination/Mechanical & Electrical Co-ordination
* Mechanical or Electrical background with proven track record in similar roles
* Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
* Strong communication and organisational skills
