The Tyre Fitter will be responsible for ensuring the correct fitting and maintenance of tyres on customer vehicles, while providing support to the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repair and replace tyres on customer vehicles as required.
* Securely fit wheels, using a torque wrench for final tightening of wheel nuts.
* Conduct a thorough inspection before handing over the vehicle to the customer.
* Use materials, parts, and equipment efficiently to reduce wastage.
* Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, particularly truck operation safety protocols.
* Keep the service vehicle clean, well-stocked, and serviced as needed.
* Follow the Company's operations manual and safety guidelines.
* Maintain strong working relationships with both colleagues and customers.
* Fully understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
* Basic knowledge and experience with tyres.
* A full, clean driving licence is essential.
