Job Description:
Business Sales Executive
(Rehab & Mobility Division)
Territory: Munster Region
Reports to: General Manager Equipment/Rehab Division
The Role:
This role sits within the Medical Devices division. The purpose of the role is to deliver year-on-year sales growth by meeting and/or exceeding the annual sales plan; to communicate the clinical and commercial benefits of our product range to enable better patient outcomes and to provide cost-effective options to clinicians across the territory.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver year-on-year sales growth by meeting and/or exceeding the annual sales plan.
2. Maintain and service existing business.
3. Build a sales pipeline and meet strategic growth targets by identifying key growth and new business opportunities.
4. Develop and implement agreed strategies in all target accounts.
5. Train customers to use and understand our products and services to best practice and standards.
6. Conduct strategic reviews within the customer base for the largest and/or most strategically important accounts.
7. Participate in and provide support at relevant exhibitions, sales meetings, and other clinical/sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management.
8. Take ownership of customers and KOLs to ensure that a positive relationship is developed and maintained, with customer satisfaction paramount.
9. Develop territory management plans that identify and prioritise activities to achieve business goals.
10. Promote a positive and professional company image internally and externally.
11. Complete all administration, reports & requests within guidelines & on time.
12. Attend international conferences and trade fairs as required.
Products & Customers:
1. Products will include a range of Rehabilitation & Mobility Equipment products used in Primary Care and the hospital environment, including A.D.L. products, Wheelchairs, Beds, Mattress, and Cushion Pressure Care products.
2. Customers will include various disciplines relating to the above range of products, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Engineering departments, and Procurement.
The Person:
Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
1. Proven sales background with at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in medical sales.
2. Ability to engage with key clinical opinion leaders and decision-makers.
3. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
4. Proven organisational/multi-tasking skills.
5. High level of self-initiative and self-management (capable of working independently).
6. Strong relationship/team player skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team (internally & externally).
7. High level of customer focus and customer service.
8. Willingness to travel internationally for manufacturer training courses and clinical meetings as required.
