An expanding and well-established insurance provider is looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their Drogheda team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong commercial insurance background to manage a varied client base and play an integral part in the company’s continued growth.
Your Role
1. Oversee the management of existing commercial insurance clients and handle new business opportunities and midterm adjustments.
2. Review and negotiate policy renewals, re-market policies, and ensure optimal insurance placements for clients.
3. Take responsibility for handling cases from start to finish, ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently and proactively.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and insurance providers.
5. Provide professional and clear communication with clients, ensuring they are informed about their options and receiving the best possible service.
6. Maintain strict adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines across all client accounts.
Your Skills
1. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar commercial insurance role is preferred.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisation, with a capacity to provide comprehensive updates to senior management.
4. Strong ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and manage client expectations effectively.
5. Must be able to engage with clients and provide effective, tailored insurance solutions.
6. Experience with Relay Software is a plus.
7. Must meet Fitness & Probity requirements.
