Your Career, Your Role
As a Senior IT Manager within the IT & Information Security team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the team in all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities.
This incorporates the provision of specialist advice and guidance to business and technical stakeholders on all matters relating to IT governance and management, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor the IT & Information Security team in all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities.
2. Provide specialist advice and guidance to business and technical stakeholders on all matters relating to IT governance and management, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and delivery.
3. Act as a key point of contact with Group colleagues to help ensure timely delivery of services that align to the bank's strategic goals.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR 5 years relevant IT industry experience.
* Extensive experience in all aspects of IT governance and management, acting in a team lead capacity, including several years in a leadership or senior managerial role.
* Experience in supporting IT strategic planning, project delivery, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to drive technical vision and strategy.
* Experience in providing technical input and challenge to recommendations and engaging with Architects, Engineers, SMEs, and other stakeholders throughout the business to recommend solutions.
* Experience in acting as a trusted advisor communicating complex technical information effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Encouraging innovation and staying abreast of industry trends and technologies.
* Experience in developing IT policies, security standards, and meeting regulatory requirements as part of maintaining and evolving a robust IT Risk Management Framework (and associated reporting/MI) to ensure effective management of IT risks on an ongoing basis.
* Experience of leading information security & IT risk assessments (working with vendors and colleagues) that are required for existing, new, or enhanced IT services including consideration of cloud technologies, AI, etc.
* Experience in leading the delivery of day-to-day IT operational activities in line with SLAs and agreed best practice processes (e.g. ITIL).
