My client, a well-established manufacturing plant in Athlone, is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative for the German market.
The position plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to both customers and external sales representatives, ensuring efficient and timely management of all customer requirements.
Job Description
A permanent full-time role with a working week from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining relationships with customers
* Processing customer orders, providing advice and support for customer queries
* Assisting the quality department with claim processing, overseeing transport schedules
* Liaising with technical and R&D departments to provide product information
* Offering sales support to the external sales team, and carrying out general administrative duties as required
Requirements:
* Excellent spoken and written English and fluent German
* Business-related qualification with 2/3 years' experience in a customer service or telesales environment preferably in the manufacturing industry
* Strong customer focus, communication skills, proficiency in MS Office applications
* Attention to detail and accuracy are essential qualities
* Knowledge of an ERP system is an advantage, but not a requirement as full training will be provided
