Medforce are delighted to partner with a highly reputable hospital in South Dublin to recruit a Radiographer Clinical Specialist (Ultrasound) on a temporary, ongoing basis.
To qualify for this role, you must already reside in Ireland with the right to work without restriction and hold current CORU registration.
The Radiographer Clinical Specialist (Ultrasound) is key to planning, coordinating, and managing resources within the unit. Main responsibilities include quality assurance, workflow scheduling, staff development, communication, and clinical leadership. The specialist ensures high technical standards in ultrasound, adhering to guidelines and collaborating within the Radiology team. They will lead and supervise staff to manage the Ultrasound service efficiently and adapt to a dynamic environment, undertaking additional duties as needed in Diagnostic Imaging.
The Radiographer Clinical Specialist (Ultrasound) oversees daily operations of the Ultrasound service, ensuring efficient resource use, quality care, and technical excellence.

* Financial and HR duties include managing consumables, supporting staff recruitment and development, and ensuring a safe environment.
* Additional duties include quality assurance, audit participation, and training, aligning with hospital policies and HIQA standards.
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or equivalent (Level 8)
* Postgraduate qualification in Ultrasound is essential (Level 9)
* Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in ultrasound imaging.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing clinical operations.
* Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
