Accounts Assistant Tuam Onsite My Tuam based client is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team full-time.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to fulfil a range of accounting activities in a busy manufacturing business environment.
This role is fully onsite with candidates needing to be a commutable distance to Tuam.
RESPONSIBILITIES *Creditors ledger maintenance *Accurate processing and coding of invoices to relevant ledgers, ensuring correct cost centres and VAT codes are used.
*Reviewing supplier invoices and issuing for authorisation/approval *Preparing invoices for weekly/monthly payment runs *Accounts receivable invoice processing *Sending out invoices and statements of account daily and ensuring timely receipt of payments.
*Recording daily receipts and preparing bank lodgements.
*Managing, reviewing, and posting of all cash and credit card transactions *Assisting with VAT, RCT, VIES and Intrastat returns.
*Assisting with bank reconciliations.
*Other ad-hoc duties to ensure the finance department runs smoothly.
*Working closely with the Procurement and Customer services departments REQUIREMENTS *The successful applicant will have 3+ years experience in a similar role *Having an Accounting Technician qualification is advantageous.
