Job Description
We are looking for a Security Lead to manage all aspects of onsite generation and power provision activities, supporting the client's management.
Responsibilities
1. Comprehensive Security Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory requirements to protect physical and information assets.
2. Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
3. Physical Security Measures: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of surveillance systems, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
4. Supplier Relationships: Manage supplier relationships for the installation and maintenance of physical security equipment.
5. On-Site Security Personnel: Manage on-site security personnel and third-party security providers to ensure effective coverage and response.
6. Team Management: Lead and manage the security team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
7. Culture Compliance: Promote a culture that encourages compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
8. Access Control: Manage access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
9. Access Logs: Regularly review access logs for compliance and accuracy.
10. Identity Verification: Ensure adherence to identity verification and visitor management processes.
11. Incident Response Plans: Develop and maintain incident response plans for security events and emergencies.
12. Investigations: Lead investigations into security incidents and provide detailed reports to senior management.
13. External Coordination: Coordinate with police and other external bodies as necessary.
14. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, and data protection laws.
15. Regular Security Checks: Conduct regular security checks for compliance.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in security management, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: Extensive experience in security management, preferably within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
3. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP are highly desirable.
4. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of physical security systems and technologies.
5. Cybersecurity: Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
6. Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, proficiency in security management software and tools.
7. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Emergency Handling: Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
