Accounts Payable Team Lead
This is a key leadership role within our multinational organization, responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable team in Cork. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the AP Team Lead will drive the strategic development of the team and business processes while ensuring delivery of operational targets.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of a team of 10 direct reports, including invoice processing, discrepancy management, and payments.
* Maintain KPIs and SLAs, acting as the first point of contact for escalations and resolving them in a timely manner.
* Foster process efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder experience through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of month-end deliverables, such as cash management and accruals, while adhering to SOX requirements.
* Support Internal and External Audits, and assist with other activities to meet Global Business Service Centre SLAs.
* Establish clear goals and objectives for the team, maximizing performance and career development through effective one-on-one meetings and team interactions.
* Maintain Standard Operating Processes and promote Itron Cultural Tenants, leading by example in meeting deadlines and responding promptly to queries and escalations.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar position, with in-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
* Experience leading a team and working with Oracle or similar integrated ERP systems.
* Preferably experience in a fast-paced multinational environment, particularly in a Shared Service Centre setting.
