We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Planner to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Service Planner will play a key role in organizing, scheduling, and coordinating all service-related activities within the company. This includes managing maintenance schedules, supporting service teams, invoicing, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to customers, and maintaining excellent communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience in service planning, agriculture, or a related field, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operations management. Please note that this role is full-time maternity cover, 15 months
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Coordination: Develop and manage service schedules for customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
* Resource Allocation: Coordinate with service and warehouse team to ensure the right parts are available and allocated to each service request.
* Manage the hotline (In conjunction with Service Technicians) answering inquiries, confirming service appointments, and providing updates on service status.
* Inventory Management: Track and manage service-related inventory, including parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for scheduled services.
* Review and create invoices from completed works and support in collecting invoice amounts from overdue customers.
* Data Management: Maintain accurate records of service activities, client interactions, and inventory levels using service management software.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve service planning processes to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with field technicians, service managers, and other departments to ensure the smooth execution of service operations.
Qualifications:
* Business, Administration, Parts/Warehouse Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience in service planning, operations management, or preferably in the agricultural or machinery sectors.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with service management software is a plus.
* Knowledge and experience of ERP and business systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with agricultural industry standards and practices.
* Experience in inventory management and resource planning.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
