Job Description
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities
* Conduct stock condition surveys, including CapEx budgeting and condition assessments.
* Prepare Opinions of Compliance related to Planning Permission and Building Regulations.
* Complete Schedules of Condition and Schedules of Dilapidations reports for commercial properties.
* Undertake Technical Due Diligence surveys and prepare comprehensive property reports.
* Assist with tender preparation, tendering procedures, and proposal development.
* Oversee and coordinate project works, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Compile, review, and approve reports and drawings to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Provide expert input and guidance within your area of specialty.
* Contribute to business development activities and support long-term client relationships.
Requirements
* BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
* Chartered Building Surveyor and/or Registered Building Surveyor status (desirable).
* Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
* Strong commercial and residential surveying experience, including site inspections.
* Experience in negotiating settlements on terminal Schedules of Dilapidations (desirable).
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
