Cpl on behalf of a public sector organisation have a requirement for a Data Quality Administrator.
The duration of this post is 12 months. There is a possibility of extension thereafter for further projects, subject to performance.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of €33,000. You will accrue 28 days' annual leave per annum (paid Public Holidays).
The role is based in Drogheda, Co Louth with a blended working model in place, requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in Drogheda (Thursday and one other day).
The role requires an individual with an interest in data management and may suit a graduate (QQI Level VI or above) or someone working in a similar environment. The role involves managing and analysing large datasets to support strategic decision-making, which requires a solid understanding of business principles and a meticulous approach to data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop and refine analytical skills, work with advanced data management tools, and contribute to impactful business decisions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Post:
1. Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of the area of responsibility.
2. Management of service mailboxes on an ongoing basis.
3. Provide support to the HIDS Data Quality Manager/Lead with strategic planning through comprehensive analysis of data sets and sources.
4. Projects will be identified by the line manager and a PID (Project Initiation Document) will be formalised to confirm project scope and stakeholders.
5. Support the HIDS Data Team Manager/Leads with data and statistical analysis and reporting tools, contributing to regular reporting to Senior Management.
6. Act as a problem solver and decision maker.
7. Demonstrate numeracy skills.
8. Exhibit IT and Excel skills.
9. Maintain attention to detail.
10. Show adaptability and resilience.
11. Work effectively in a team and communicate well.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A business graduate may find this position rewarding as it allows them to develop critical skills in data analysis, project management, and stakeholder communication.
2. The minimum qualification is:
1. Have obtained a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish. Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects in that examination.
2. Or have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction.
3. Or hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI).
Note: Candidates must achieve a pass in Ordinary or Higher-level papers. A pass in a foundation level paper is not acceptable. Candidates must have achieved these grades on the Leaving Certificate Established programme or the Leaving Certificate Vocational programme. The Leaving Certification Applied Programme does not fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
