Your Role: As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (Paediatrics), you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialist assessments, interventions, and therapy plans for children with a range of communication needs. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure person-centred, high-quality care and support early intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children with developmental, speech, and communication disorders. Develop individualised therapy plans to support language, speech sound production, social communication, and alternative communication methods. Implement evidence-based interventions to improve childrens communication and participation in everyday life. Provide parent and caregiver training, equipping families with the skills to support their child's communication at home and in school. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, child-centred interventions. Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, contribute to service audits, and support the ongoing development of paediatric therapy services. Participate in clinical supervision, training, and service development initiatives to ensure the highest standard of care. Essential Criteria: CORU registered Speech & Language Therapist (or eligibility for registration). Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (ideally with children in a community, disability, or primary care setting). Experience working with children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
