Applications are invited for a permanent post of IT Support within UCD IT Services.
UCD IT Services provides all central IT applications, support and infrastructure for staff and students throughout the University.
The successful applicant will assist with providing a first-class service supporting customers to resolve IT requests and faults and other functions of the departmental office. Experience of a varied technical infrastructure and demanding service environment is important. The work involves considerable interaction with staff, students and the wider University community and the successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, together with tact and discretion.
As a member of the IT department at this university, the successful applicant will be welcomed into an innovative and dynamic environment, where they can collaborate with other IT professionals, learn about the university's wide variety of technologies and will be invited to help shape the advancement and improvement of knowledge and technology systems. Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
