Job Title: Accredited Counsellor/Therapist
Sessional work with the HSE Counselling Primary Care (CIPC) service in Dublin South East & Wicklow East is available for qualified professionals.
About CIPC
The HSE National Counselling Service has developed a Counselling in Primary Care service, providing short-term counselling in primary care settings to medical card holders aged 18 years and over.
Qualifications and Experience
* A recognised Level 7 qualification in a relevant human science discipline or equivalent in a health and social care profession or health-related profession is required.
* An applicant must possess either:
o (a) A degree or post-graduate qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or a related field recognised by IACP, ICP, or IABCP.
o (b) Full accredited membership with IACP, IABCP, or a relevant body within ICP.
* (c) A post-graduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology recognised by PSI.
* (d) Registration process commenced with PSI or full registration with the clinical or counselling psychology division of PSI.
* A minimum of two years relevant post-qualification experience is also required. Some exceptions may apply for full-time post-graduate qualifications.
A selection process will be conducted, and locations included in CHO6 are Clonskeagh and Irishtown.
