Mosney Village: Join a Harmonious Community as Resident Services Person
Mosney Village is an Irish family-run business nestled in 80 acres of picturesque green space along the East County Meath coastline. This unique setting is home to over 900 residents from more than 30 countries, residing in over 300 houses, bungalows, and apartments that foster independence in a safe environment.
A successful Resident Services Person will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within this vibrant community. Reporting directly to the Security Manager, key duties include:
Providing exceptional service to residents daily while maintaining a high level of professionalism and friendliness
Managing local incidents to minimize disruption to our operations
Ensuring adherence to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies related to security protocols
Greeting clients, staff, and members of the public with a friendly, professional demeanor
Directing visitors to the appropriate person or location
Handling phone and email inquiries promptly, professionally, and efficiently
Reporting complaints to management in a timely manner
Monitoring alarms and security facilities while supporting delivery and collection activities when required
Promoting and upholding a culture of quality, respect, safety, and kindness within the department
Carrying out routine tasks assigned by your manager
Maintaining effective communication with staff and residents
Assisting residents as needed
Demonstrating thorough knowledge of Mosney Villages health and safety, fire, and security regulations and procedures
Ensuring the department's daily upkeep
Exceeding customer service standards while continually seeking improvements to operational efficiency and standards
Attending to unexpected issues during shifts
Facilitating effective communication within the team regarding departmental requirements
Performing site checks and patrols throughout shifts
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent listening abilities, and effective communication skills. They will also demonstrate leadership qualities, a positive attitude towards work, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. As a team player, they will support colleagues and prioritize customer satisfaction. Key qualifications and experience include:
A Private Security Authority (PSA) Licence (training can be provided if not already held)
Previous experience in a customer-focused role or security position (advantageous but not mandatory)
Strong PC skills and proficiency using systems
A full clean driving licence is required
Excellent English language skills (both written and verbal)
This is a permanent full-time position subject to a six-month probation period. The successful candidate will be required to work within a team on a rota basis, including shifts performed over days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. They must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and be physically fit for patrols. A two-way radio will be used for this role, and Garda Vetting Clearance, as well as a medical, will be required.
