An exciting opportunity has arisen in our client’s finance team for Finance Manager who will work with the wider finance team and Business Unit leadership teams in two key areas, driving the Group’s business optimisation objectives and also developing the Groups reporting requirements. This role will report to the C.F.O. and will be key to identifying and supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing leadership in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems and processes across finance and the wider organisation
* Finance support for all digitalisation projects across the business including ERP
* Liaising with operational colleagues on ensuring change impact is managed appropriately
* Working with the sustainability team:
* To develop and lead internal reporting processes to support business decision making and to drive improvement
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including CSRD
* Support in development of robust systems, processes and tools for sustainability data collection and analysis
* Ensure required internal controls and clear audit trail are in place in relation to ESG reporting
* Other developmental and value added projects as they arise
We Are Seeking;
* Qualified accountant with 5 - 7 years post qualified experience in a fast-growing business, ideally in Food or Agri-trade.
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Significant prior experience in finance process optimisation and automation
* An ability to identify areas for improvement and best in class practice
* An ability to identify and lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of projects systems, initiatives and processes.
* Experience in the management of change
* A leader with a driven personality, strong team ethic, ability to lead and inspire others.
