Sr. Technical Program Manager Job Description
As the Sr. Technical Program Manager in Workforce Solutions, you will lead program management in building all the technology-enabled recruitment process for Amazon.

This team leads complex technical programs with industry-wide impact, focusing on solving human-centric and meaningful challenges in recruiting technology.
The optimal candidate should have experience managing cross-cutting technical products and projects with industry-wide impact. You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmaps using incremental delivery methods.
You should have experience working on complex software systems in customer-centric environments, driving cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies, and handling communication from engineers to VPs. We expect you to write strategic documents and influence large groups of senior stakeholders.
A successful candidate possesses superb business judgment, a high degree of customer-obsession, has a track record of delivering results, is strong on collaboration, and is data-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, legal, etc. to deliver the Hiring solution globally.
* Manage complex cross-team programs from ideation to delivery.
* Create transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management.
* Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing trade-offs, and eliminating blockers.
* Participate in architectural decisions, surfacing and mitigating technical risks, driving complex integrations with internal and 3rd party solutions, retiring technical debt, and identifying opportunities to create operational efficiencies.
* Set and embody the team culture and standards consistent with Amazon's Leadership Principles.
* Drive alignment with leadership in recruiting and partner tech teams.

Workforce Solutions (WS) is a horizontal, multi-discipline organization whose mission is to build the best people-forward technology to enable corporate recruitment for Amazon globally.
We build intelligent technology products that Amazon uses to make the right hiring decisions every time, while being more equitable and candidate-centric in the end-to-end experience.
We accomplish this by leveraging our expertise in product and program management, design/research, and other disciplines.

Requirements:
* Experience in technical product or program management.
* Experience in software development.
* Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
* Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
* PMI/PMP project management certified.
* Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
* Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
* Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
