Joint Recruitment: Mater Misericordiae University Hospital is co-ordinating the joint recruitment initiative for Palliative Medicine Registrars in collaboration with St. James Hospital, Tallaght University Hospital, St. Francis Hospice Dublin, Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services (Harold's Cross, Blackrock Hospice & Wicklow Hospice) and St. Brigid's Hospice, Kildare.
In addition, Tallaght University Hospital will also recruit a joint palliative medicine/oncology registrar post, of 12 months duration (0.6 medical oncology/0.4 palliative medicine).

Required: Full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
Desirable: MRCP/MRCPI; previous experience in an associated relevant speciality (e.g.
Oncology, Haematology, Care of the Elderly, Neurology).
The Palliative Care Department seeks to appoint a registrar on a 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic team providing a palliative care consultation service in a busy level 4 teaching hospital.
The post holder will have the opportunity to gain palliative medicine experience in a supportive environment.
Our registrars are an integral part of our team, supported in their ongoing education and have the opportunity to develop an interest in audit and research projects.
The successful candidate will work alongside four consultants and four clinical nurse specialists.
There will be an on call commitment to St. Francis Hospice Dublin.
