Job Description
Auburn Veterinary Hospital seeks a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon for a Maternity Cover Contract.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a mix of small and large animal work. The ideal candidate will have experience in general first opinion practice, routine surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care for small animals, as well as farm calls and calving/sections for large animals.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine surgeries, such as spays, castrations, and lump removals, on cats and dogs.
* Conduct calving/sections and provide general farm call services.
* Work Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with one night shift per week and one in four weekends.
