The Marketing & Engagement Specialist will support developing and implementing marketing and public relations activities across the organisation, reporting to the Senior Engagement and Marketing Manager.
The person will be responsible for:
Market Research & Ongoing ReportingConduct market research and gather insights relevant to the target segments, the sector and the broader labour market.Present findings to key stakeholders to feed insights and trends into future marketing activities.Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance data.Planning & ImplementationSupport the creation of marketing and engagement plans and update them on an ongoing basis.Implement approved marketing & engagement campaigns across various platforms and assist in coordinating with media outlets.Maintain campaign schedules and timelines, supporting the coordination between HR and hiring managers.Liaise with the organisation's recruitment dept.
to ensure the alignment of marketing campaigns as they relate to recruitment and onboarding.Work with 3rd party vendors and partners such as creative and media agencies.Content CreationCreate and schedule engaging marketing content (website, social media, promotional materials, press releases, and others) that aligns with brand guidelines.Showcase the organisation's employer value proposition, build awareness, and increase job applications through 'thumb-stopping' marketing content adapted to various channels.Events & Community EngagementProvide operational support for events and assist in their execution.Deliver effective communications and engage with schools, third-level institutions, local groups and sports organisations as part of the organisation's outreach program.Execute local outreach activities to engage with target audiences.Required experience:Min.
2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fieldStrong digital marketing, including social media management, email, and content creation, website CMS managementExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong project, time management and prioritisation skillsStrong stakeholder management, ideally working with HR/Hiring Managers and Senior professionals.Design & video skills with the ability to create template-based visual assets using design and video tools, such as Canva, Veed.io, Capcut or similarAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of marketing analytics and reporting toolsPrevious experience in public sector is a plus.Get in Touch: If you'd like to hear more about this role, apply here or email a copy of your CV to ******
