Now hiring a Maintenance Electrician with a focus on various tasks related to electrical systems and equipment, to improve available running time and performance.
You will join the Maintenance Team, which includes other fitters and electricians, based in our Bray, Dublin location where there is a chance to create a real impact being part of the installation team for “new to Bray” machinery and equipment in Ireland!
HOW YOU'LL HELP US CONNECT THE WORLD:
Responsibilities include:
1. Assembling, installing, testing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical components using hand and power tools.
2. Diagnosing malfunctions, testing electrical systems for accurate operation, and inspecting equipment for hazards or defects.
3. Advising management on equipment operation.
4. Working at heights to install and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
5. Planning and performing installations while adhering to codes, preparing sketches, and updating drawings for accurate records.
6. Pulling wires through conduits, constructing parts, and dismantling and assembling equipment with precision.
7. Maintaining detailed records of breakdowns and repairs, collaborating with maintenance fitters, and contributing to equipment modifications.
8. Working with external contractors when needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
1. Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland.
2. Electrical proficiency, able to diagnose and tackle problems, and read electrical drawings.
3. Knowledge of Mechanical containment installations, e.g., conduit, cable ladder, trunking, etc.
4. Ability to work from heights, e.g., Ladders, MEWP.
