Marketing Communications Executive - Clondalkin, Dublin 22
Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. The core business is through the traditional Builders Merchants division. Main brands include Chadwicks, Cork Builders Providers, Davies & Telfords. In addition, and through organic growth and acquisitions, the Group has established a range of brands which are close to the core but offer a uniquely different range of products. These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline, Sitetech & Rooney's Hardware.
Principle Objectives:
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Marketing Communications Executive will play an integral role in the execution of our marketing strategy in Chadwicks Group.
Experience & Qualifications
* Third Level Marketing qualification
* 2+ years’ experience in a Marketing Role in a B2B, Retail environment or PR agency
* Experience in managing agencies
* Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & achieve tight deadlines
* Proficient in MS Office
* Full clean driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
* Working with the brand manager to execute marketing plan in alignment with business goals.
* Ownership of brand sponsorship including Shelbourne FC and Chadwicks Wexford Park at local and national level including planning and activation
* Support PR activity across all brands in line with PR calendar
* Management of local and trade promotions - coordination with category and design teams, management of print and distribution
* Manage local customer events, in-store activation and support organisation of local rebrand events
* Support creation of sales collateral including brochures, flyers and in-store POS
* Monitor media coverage, file press clippings and compile reports.
* Support signage project manager with ad hoc branch requests for signage
* Ordering of branded merchandise and stock management
* Manage internal marketing filing system, ensuring all artwork and documentation is kept up to date.
