Senior Property Manager
About the Role:
In this dynamic contract role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to make a significant impact on our extensive property portfolio.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to provide property management and advisory services, ensuring the efficient planning, management, and rationalisation of our estate.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the yearly updating of property valuations for all properties listed in the Property Registers and Database where required.
* Review and advise on third-party proposals from a property management perspective, including developer proposals, D&B development options, and PPP procurement.
* Advise and assist integrated service area personnel on the sourcing and acquisition of new facilities in line with their Service Plans.
* Prepare reviews and commentaries on Development Plans of Local Authorities within the area, in consultation with appropriate officers and advisors.
* Ensure statutory compliance regarding Planning and Zoning Regulations for all properties.
* Carry out property suitability assessment reports and liaise with other internal and external expertise as necessary.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in property management, with a deep understanding of regulatory landscape and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling strong relationships with internal and external partners.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to addressing complex property-related challenges.
* High level of technical proficiency to communicate with relevant personnel.
* Good knowledge of zoning and planning objectives, including development plans and area plans.
* Good knowledge of planning and development laws and Building regulations.
* Proven leadership and teamwork ability.
Qualifications:
* A Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland major academic award in Property Studies, Property Valuation & Management or Property Economics.
* Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (e.g. Commercial Agency Surveyor, Property & Facilities Management Surveyor or Valuation Surveyor).
* At least seven years satisfactory and relevant experience in the direction and supervision of commercial agency, property valuation, property transactions, and/or property management.
