Programme Manager for Immersive Technology Apprenticeship
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a new apprenticeship programme in Immersive Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the development and implementation of the Immersive Technology Apprenticeship, including planning, curricula design, and quality assurance.
* Establish and oversee the operation of an Immersive Technology hub, featuring a living lab for practical applications and state-of-the-art resources.
* Coordinate certified and uncertified training for schools and adult learners, promoting the programme and engaging employers nationwide.
* Maintain a national database of stakeholders, support employer approvals, and manage apprentice registrations, programme content, and assessments.
* Ensure resources and facilities for apprentices, lead programme events, uphold organisational reputation, and comply with Health and Safety standards.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Hold a minimum qualification of a Level 7 in Immersive Technology or a cognate area.
* Demonstrate proven work history showcasing initiative, innovation, and adaptability to change and new challenges.
* Prior management or supervisory experience, supported by formal development.
* Exhibit strong interest in emerging technologies, with advanced knowledge in one or more areas of Immersive Technology.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
* Knowledge of the Further Education and Training (FET) sector, including curriculum design and QQI policies and procedures.
* Experience in a training or education environment.
* Digital capability and proficiency in immersive technologies.
* Project management skills, particularly in educational or technological contexts.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
