HR Assistant - County Louth - Immediate start MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing organisation in County Louth as they look to add an HR Assistant to their team, initially on a temporary basis. This role offers an immediate start. The role: The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring the smooth execution of HR functions and providing exceptional service to employees. The main responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Support with recruitment processes, including job postings, participating in interviews, and managing candidate communication. Lead on boarding activities for new hires, such as preparing welcome materials, leading orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements. Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., attendance, leaves, etc.). Coordinate training and development initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. CIPD (desirable). A minimum of 1 years' experience as an HR Assistant in a fast-paced industry, or 1 year placement within an HR function. Familiarity with HRIS. Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices is a plus.
