Job Summary:
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will assist in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by providing efficient and professional food and beverage service.
This role is for someone with a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. Principle Responsibilities Ensure service levels are of the highest standard and consistent in all food outlets. Welcome guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to enhance the guest experience. Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables, linens, and cutlery.
Ensure the area is clean, organized, and ready for service. Be familiar with the menu, including daily specials, to answer guest questions and make recommendations. Serve food and drinks in accordance with company standards and health and safety guidelines. Process guest payments accurately using the POS system. Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times Ensure the restaurant areas are clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaning duties as and when required Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction and ensure that any guest complaints and comments are reported to management Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues promptly. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including food safety standards. Monitor and replenish supplies, report shortages, and assist in inventory checks as needed. Ensure service levels are of the highest standard and consistent in all food outlets. Required Experience & Skills Previous experience in a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience of Cash handling and POS systems. Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP. A passion for fresh food and service. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer service. Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
