Our client, Vanguard, is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Fund & Investment Operations Analyst to join their team in Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the daily operational tasks of the Global Fund Accounting Operations team, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving complex operational issues while supporting portfolio managers to meet their objectives.
What you'll do:
* Oversee the daily operational tasks of the fund and investment Global Fund Accounting Operations team
* Monitor various controls and procedures to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures
* Act as a subject matter and technical expert, identifying and resolving complex operational issues
* Lead internal control framework improvements and formulate strategic recommendations
* Support portfolio managers to ensure operational objectives are met
* Serve as an escalation contact, creating, building, and maintaining relationships with portfolio traders and managers
* Proactively anticipate portfolio events and lead process enhancement initiatives
* Maintain communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues
* Oversee research and implement complex process improvements
* Oversee internal event tracking, perform incident analysis, evaluate and enhance workflows
What you bring:
* Experience in overseeing operational tasks within fund accounting operations
* Ability to monitor controls and procedures effectively
* Expertise in identifying and resolving complex operational issues
* Experience in leading internal control framework improvements
* Ability to support portfolio managers in meeting their objectives
* Experience in building relationships with stakeholders such as portfolio traders and managers
* Proactive approach towards anticipating portfolio events and leading process enhancement initiatives
* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external partners
* Experience in overseeing research and implementing complex process improvements
* Ability to manage internal event tracking, perform incident analysis, evaluate and enhance workflows
