Job Title: Part-Time Financial Controller
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Part-Time Financial Controller to join our growing healthcare agency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strong financial control measures, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Oversee and improve the accounts receivable and collections, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
* Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and accurate employee payments.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
* Work closely with external accountants to manage tax, audits, and year-end financial statements.
* Monitor and manage working capital, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
* Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiencies.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best financial practices.
* Assist with budgeting and financial planning to support business growth.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with financial control experience.
* Proven track record in implementing financial controls and improving finance processes.
* Hands-on experience with AR, AP, and payroll management.
* Strong knowledge of financial software and accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, Sage).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus but not essential.
