A client of mine is looking to hire an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist in Cork. This role will focus on providing Level 2 and 3 support for a range of Microsoft and Windows technologies, as well as involvement in several ongoing IT projects across the business. You will be key in managing escalations and contributing to IT system improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 2 and 3 support for Windows environments, including Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
* Manage escalated hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
* Lead IT projects such as software rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
* Maintain detailed documentation of issues and processes for both support tickets and project work.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft environments.
* Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, and advanced networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
* Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud service management.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or CompTIA Network+.
