Treasury Credit Professional, Level 2, Bank & Country Credit,
Treasury Location:
Dublin (with hybrid working) What is the Role: As a Treasury Credit Professional, Level 2, in the Bank & Country Credit team within Treasury, the role involves; Working in a team with responsibility for the credit management of a specified geographic portfolio of bank and country counterparties supporting the operations of Treasury and other AIB business areas.
Researching and preparing credit applications to cover all related limit requests, and presentation to the relevant credit committee forum.
The role also requires the ongoing monitoring of the credit quality of the counterparties within the portfolio.
Working with stakeholders on ad hoc projects and management reporting and interacting with numerous stakeholders within AIB.
Key Accountabilities:
Preparation of risk assessments and review of financial and economic reports covering bank and country counterparts of the group.
Ensure compliance to controls within the remit of the relevant role, ensuring that operational risk is minimised.
Support relevant management and financial reporting inputs as part of the team.
Keep up to date on key market developments and awareness of key regulatory developments which could impact risk profile of the business area's customers.
Participate in projects and initiatives to support new business objectives and streamline processes to deliver efficiencies.
What you will bring:
Ideally 1-3 years' experience working in a financial services or credit risk analysis role.
Educational qualification in Business, Finance or Economics is desirable.
The ability to analyse and interpret financial and economic data, to assess its value and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
Experience in working as part of a team and problem solving.
Effective core business capabilities including report writing, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
