Bookkeeper (Part Time/Flexible Hours) North Dublin We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a standalone role and is office based in Baldoyle, Dublin 13. A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience, preferably accounting technician qualified, with experience in the Construction sector. This role will suit someone who can work on their own initiative, as well as being a team player, an energetic individual with the drive to push the company forward and add value to the organisation. Salary: €36,000 - €38,000 Per Annum DOE (Pro Rata) Working hours are Flexible to suit the individual eg.3 days per week 9am to 4pm or 4 days per week 9.30am to 2.30pm Other hours and days could be discussed as an alternative Responsibilities: Weekly workflow schedule needs to be applied, with deadlines being prioritised i.e. VAT, RCT Supplier Set-Up, Site Reference Application on ROS, Budget Allocation Supplier Invoices Delivery Docket Match, Input, review and ensure regular price checks overlap with QS. Query resolution. Debtor Invoices, Input and manage Debtors. RCT Returns on ROS, VAT monthly reports, review, checks and filing. Payroll To be prepared and sent to accountants for approval Bank Transaction & Reconciliation, book all additional bank & credit card transactions. Accounts - These need to be provided with timely reports providing the Director with Actual v Budget for each site on a regular basis. Fixed Asset Register - A record of all fixed assets should be maintained and checked at least quarterly; particularly high value items held off site. Stock Control Accurate stock checks carried out and values updated accordingly Cashflow - A cash flow forecast prepared at the beginning of the year with comparisons to actual monthly figures. Company Returns to be agreed with our external accountants Implementation of a purchase order system Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role VAT and RCT experience are a must Accounting Technician qualification is highly desirable Irish Construction industry experience is highly desirable
