Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join an expanding procurement team in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization, preferably within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure the continuous supply of quality materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier performance.
* Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluation.
* Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply.
* Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
* Conduct market analysis to identify new trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain.
* Lead RFQ and RFP processes, ensuring competitive pricing and value.
* Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier performance.
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in procurement with a track record of strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
* Professional certifications such as CIPS highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
* Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
